Within the past few years Durham has changed zoning to allow for Accessory Dwelling Units to be built on properties where existing homes are located. ADU’s can be used to expand your living area, add a separate in-law suite and can add extra income and equity in your property. This has allowed us to build our customers a detached garage with a finished apartment (at right), a completely separate house to be rented and a detached dwelling for a home gym, just to name a few.
“I just moved into my third G.Crabtree built home and I can’t begin to express my gratitude for the magnificent job Gail and her crew did from start to finish. I didn’t think I could love another home more than the one I moved out of, but Gail outdid herself on my new 800 square foot accessory dwelling unit. Her attention to the smallest details is evident throughout the house. She didn’t hesitate to push me in a direction that I might not have thought of. I was hesitant to go with 10 foot ceilings, but she knew that it would really make the space feel bigger. I am so happy I went with her sound advice. Gail was a dream to work with and produces a stellar product!”
